Background:
Ecosecurities is working closely with the Government of Timor-Leste, through the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the office of the Designated National Authority (AND, IP), in order to implement the ‘Improved Cookstove and Community Development Project in Timor-Leste.’ The project aims to distribute up to 200,000 improved cookstoves (ICS) to rural households across the country over three to four years.
Ecosecurities is looking to hire an experienced photographer to capture and document the project activity.
Purpose:
To capture the human impact of distributing Improved Cookstoves to local communities in Dili, Timor-Leste. The photographs will be used in new marketing materials, the client's website, and social media platforms to highlight how these stoves are transforming lives and reducing carbon emissions
Scope of Work:
The photographer is required to take photos and videos that:
· Document local communities in Dili, Timor-Leste, receiving and using Improved Cookstoves.
· Highlight the positive impact of the stoves on daily life, health, and the environment.
· Convey the human side of carbon reduction projects, emphasising personal stories and emotions.
Location(s):
· Dili, Timor-Leste
· Specific community locations to be determined in coordination with the client.
Post-Production Requirements:
· Number of final images required: 50-100 – Including video
· File format and resolution: High-res JPEG for print, web-res JPEG for online use.
· Retouching: Minimal retouching to maintain authenticity, focus on colour correction and minor adjustments.
· Deadline for final deliverables: 5 days post-location shoot
Deliverables:
· Final edited images
· Raw files (if required by ecosecurities) – incl. video footage
· Drone footage/images, behind-the-scenes shots, video clips
Budget:
In addition to the agreed budget, if the photographer is not based in Dili or Timor-Leste, ecosecurities will cover local flights for photographers based in Bali, Jakarta or Surabaya.
Requirement for RFQ:
· The quotation should include budget and example of photographers’ portfolios.
· Submission after the due date of 10 July 2024 will not be considered.
